The New El Alamein City internal transportation hub spans an area of approximately 5200 square meters, featuring a 220 square meter administrative building. The hub includes two bus shelters that can accommodate a total of 24 large buses and two car shelters that can accommodate 18 cars. The facility is equipped with waiting areas for passengers, public restrooms, and an administrative building that provides a comprehensive working environment for employees.
Dr. Engineer Mohamed Khalaf Allah, Head of the New El Alamein City Authority, and other officials oversaw the trial operation of the first phase of the transportation hub. This initiative aims to provide an organized and safe internal transportation system, facilitating the movement of residents and visitors while connecting residential, service, and vital areas in line with the city's urban development.
The New El Alamein City Authority is also finalizing preparations for the international conference and exhibition center in the city's heritage district.
