The Egyptian Ministry of Local Development and Environment participated in the Climate-Tech Expo, held in Cairo, through a delegation from the Central Administration for Climate Change. The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry in collaboration with the Private Sector Innovation Project (PSI), implemented by several companies and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) in Egypt, with funding from the German government. The expo brought together 42 Egyptian startups specializing in climate technology, along with investors, companies, and government officials from Egypt, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Minister of Local Development and Environment, Manal Awad, emphasized that the Climate-Tech Expo aligns with Egypt's efforts to promote sustainable industrial development and stimulate innovation and investment in climate-related fields.
