The Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities has announced a new round of investment land sales in New El-Tour City, also known as the New Cairo City or simply El-Tour. The available plots are now open for booking through the Investor Services Portal. The land offerings include commercial, administrative, and residential plots, as well as educational and administrative ones. This move aligns with the state's efforts to drive digital transformation and simplify procedures for investors.

The Ministry of Housing has revealed details about the available investment lands in New El-Tour City. Three plots are being offered: plot number 30, located in the services area "A" in the 15th district, with an area of 1,287 square meters and designated for commercial, administrative, and residential use; plot number 25, situated in the regional services area on the Cairo-Ismailia Desert Road, with an area of 16,060 square meters and designated for administrative use; and plot number 54, located in the services area of the Middle Ring Road in the 26th district, with an area of 13,502 square meters and designated for educational use as a school.

The Ministry of Housing has outlined the building regulations for investors interested in booking the available lands in New El-Tour City. The building ratio is capped at 30%, with a maximum allowed height of a basement, ground floor, and three repetitive floors. The permissible building height is ground and first commercial, second and third administrative. Investors must also adhere to a 6-meter front, side, and rear setback. Furthermore, investors must provide parking spaces within the plot boundaries in accordance with the Egyptian parking code.

Investors interested in acquiring the available lands in New El-Tour City must also comply with additional requirements. The land area is subject to variation, and the actual area delivered by the land management department will be considered final. Moreover, investors must adhere to the area's height restrictions and not exceed the project's building regulations. The project implementation deadline is set at five years from the date of land handover.

The price of the land is set at 11,570 Egyptian pounds per square meter. Investors can book the available plots online through the Investor Services Portal until October 15, 2026. This move is part of the Egyptian government's efforts to attract investments and promote economic growth.

The Ministry of Housing has also announced the payment terms for the available lands in New El-Tour City. The remaining land price can be paid in equal semi-annual installments over the project's implementation period. The first installment is due six months after the allocation decision by the Authority's Board of Directors.
