The Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities has announced that registration for the third phase of the "Your Home in Egypt" initiative will begin on November 10. The initiative, launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, aims to provide Egyptians living abroad with the opportunity to own homes in Egypt. The third phase offers approximately 4,000 units in various projects across several new cities.

The units are located in cities such as New El Alamein, New Cairo, Shurouk, 6th of October, Sheikh Zayed, New Administrative Capital, New Mansoura, and New Damietta. Some of the projects include "Madinti, Jannah, Zilal, Diyarna, Mazareen, and Zahia." The initiative is in line with the recommendations of the "Egypt 2026" forum and aims to provide Egyptians abroad with investment opportunities and a chance to own homes in their home country.

The Ministry of Housing has stated that the registration process will be conducted electronically, and Egyptians abroad can register on the initiative's website. The ministry has also announced that it will allow applicants to make dollar transfers in advance, which will be reviewed and verified before being added to their electronic accounts. This process aims to simplify the registration and payment procedures for applicants.

According to Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for Urban Communities, the third phase of the initiative will offer various payment systems, including the option to pay 100% of the unit's value or 50% with discounts. The details of these systems and discounts will be announced later. Dr. Abbas emphasized that the initiative aims to provide Egyptians abroad with a range of investment opportunities and to facilitate the process of owning a home in Egypt.

Dr. Ahmed Amr, Supervisor of the Real Estate and Commercial Sector at the New Urban Communities Authority, stated that applicants can create an electronic account on the initiative's website and make dollar transfers with a minimum value of $5,000 per transfer. The transfers will be verified and added to the applicant's electronic account, which will be used to pay for the unit.

The "Your Home in Egypt" initiative is open to Egyptians living abroad who are at least 21 years old. Interested applicants can register on the initiative's website or contact the hotline 19010 for more information. The initiative's official social media pages also provide updates and information on the registration process.

The Ministry of Housing has emphasized that the registration and transfer process does not imply that the units will be allocated or reserved. The allocation of units will be based on the applicant's priority, which will be determined by the registration and payment procedures. The ministry will announce the details of the third phase, including the allocation and payment procedures, at a later date.
