Applicants can register through the official website of the Egypt Digital Platform. The registration fee is 365 EGP, which is non-refundable.
To secure a unit, applicants must pay a 10,000 EGP deposit, which is equivalent to three months' rent. The deposit will be refunded under certain conditions. Once the application is accepted, the applicant will be required to sign a contract and pay the first month's rent, as well as 250 EGP in maintenance and management fees.
The rent for the units will be 25% of the applicant's monthly income. The rent will increase by 7% annually. In addition to the rent, applicants will also pay 250 EGP per month in maintenance and management fees. The Social Housing Fund will provide a subsidy to cover the remaining rent, up to a maximum of 100,000 EGP over the lease period.
