The conference is built around an integrated scientific vision that adopts the immune basis and the one-health approach as its main axis, stemming from the integration of human, animal, and environmental health. The scientific sessions and discussions focus on various topics, including the development of veterinary vaccines, modern diagnostic techniques, and strategies to confront microbial resistance to antibiotics in farms.
The conference also covers recent technologies in tracking, diagnosing, and controlling animal diseases, applications of artificial intelligence in veterinary medicine, and modern trends in reproduction and artificial insemination. Other topics include fish and marine animal health, nutrition strategies to improve productivity, and combating common diseases to ensure the safety of food of animal origin.
As part of its support for researchers, the conference offers the Best Applied Research Award, which includes five prestigious prizes for research papers with direct industrial and practical returns. The conference also provides an opportunity for researchers to publish their accepted research in specialized and classified scientific journals, including the Egyptian Journal of Veterinary Sciences and the Ricos Biology journal.
The conference is taking place over four consecutive days, starting with an official opening in Cairo, followed by the transfer of working papers and scientific sessions to Alexandria.
