Egypt's Housing Fund has announced the comprehensive geographic distribution of 15,000 ready-to-occupy rental units. These units are part of the presidential initiative "Housing for All Egyptians 9". The distribution includes 8,464 units in governorates, 3,256 units in new cities, and 3,280 units in villages under the "Decent Life" initiative. This initiative aims to cater to the needs of various geographic segments in Egypt.

The rental units are distributed across 16 governorates, with 8,384 units having an area of 90 square meters. These governorates include Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Monufia, Damietta, Ismailia, Suez, Beheira, Beni Suef, Fayoum, Asyut, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, and Matruh. Additionally, 80 units with an area of 75 square meters are concentrated in Minya governorate to meet the needs of low-income individuals.

In new cities, 2,606 units with an area of 90 square meters are available in cities such as New October, May 15, and New Obour. There are also 650 units with an area of 75 square meters in cities like New Cairo, New Obour, and Akhmim. The "Decent Life" initiative includes 3,280 units with areas ranging from 96 to 100 square meters, distributed across 11 governorates, including Giza, Monufia, and Gharghia.

The Housing Fund has set specific conditions for applicants. These conditions include not being able to apply for more than one unit per announcement. Applicants must also not own a unit or have benefited from state-supported housing programs before. Furthermore, applicants must meet specific residency and work requirements in the governorate or city they are applying to.

The rental period is three years, with the option to renew for an additional three years. Applicants who were previously tenants under exceptional rent laws and wish to benefit from the new units must have registered on the Egypt Digital platform. They must also relinquish their previous rental contract before occupying the new unit.

In cases of the applicant's death, their spouse and minor children can complete the application and contract procedures. If the applicant dies after signing the contract, the spouse and minor children can continue to benefit from the unit. The Housing Fund will use the maintenance fees and monthly rent to maintain the project's infrastructure and ensure its sustainability.

The units are intended for permanent residential use, and beneficiaries are not allowed to change the unit's use or dispose of it in any way. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the contract being terminated, and the unit being reclaimed. The Housing Fund will take all necessary legal actions to protect its rights.
