The Dynamique des Femmes pour la Bonne Gouvernance (DYFEGOU), a women's rights group in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, has commended the Fonds National de Réparation des Victimes des violences sexuelles liées aux conflits et des victimes des crimes contre la paix et la sécurité de l'humanité (FONAREV) for providing healthcare support to nearly 100 survivors of massacres in Butembo and Beni. This support was highlighted during meetings with victims in Beni, Oïcha, and Butembo, held around the International Day of Peace on September 21.
According to DYFEGOU, FONAREV's healthcare support marks a significant step towards restoring the dignity and well-being of survivors.
