The Minister of Infrastructure and Equipment, Saïd Nouh Hassan, officially opened the rehabilitated Doudoubalala-Glblalou section of National Road 1 in Djibouti. The ceremony was attended by Abdi Ibrahim Farah, Director General of DPCR SA, prefects and council presidents from Dikhil and Ali-Sabieh, and project partners. The 10-kilometer road section was rehabilitated in two phases, with a 10-meter wide carriageway and 35 hydraulic structures.

DPCR SA managed the project, which was financed with the support of Salaam African Bank and executed by Al-Nasri Group.
The project included quality control and testing by the Laboratoire Central du Bâtiment et de l’Équipement (LCBE). The rehabilitation of this road section is part of the government's priorities for infrastructure development and preservation, as well as enhancing national and regional connectivity. President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh has emphasized the importance of these efforts.
