DigiFT, a Monetary Authority of Singapore-licensed digital asset exchange, has launched tokenized access to interests in a U.S. Treasury money market fund managed by Fidelity Investments. This listing gives institutional and accredited investors on-chain access to interests in the fund. The fund's holdings, comprising cash and short-dated U.S. Treasuries, meet the reserve-asset criteria set by the United States for its own payment stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.

The launch reflects sustained institutional demand for regulated, short-duration, high-quality instruments on-chain. Reserve-Grade, Tokenized Treasury and money market instruments already represent the largest single category of tokenized real-world assets on public blockchains. This development is significant, as it provides investors with access to high-quality, short-duration collateral. The GENIUS Act has shaped how the market designs and evaluates these instruments.

Cynthia Lo Bessette, Head of Digital Asset Management at Fidelity Investments, highlighted the potential of tokenization to expand access to investment products. She noted that it enables new forms of liquidity, collateral utility, and investment innovation through its programmable infrastructure. DigiFT's collaboration with Fidelity Investments aims to further how institutional and accredited investors can access, use, and integrate on-chain investment products within emerging digital financial ecosystems.

DigiFT holds Capital Markets Services and Recognised Market Operator licences from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The company has supported 42 token issuances to date, spanning various asset classes, including cash management, income strategies, and equity exposure. These issuances have been done in collaboration with established financial institutions, with over $435M in total subscriptions settled across the platform.

The listing of the U.S. Treasury money market fund extends DigiFT's cash-management category. The fund is available to institutional and accredited investors under DigiFT's investor eligibility requirements. This development is part of DigiFT's broader focus on building out capabilities across the full tokenization lifecycle, including issuance, distribution, secondary trading, and custody.

Henry Zhang, Founder and Group CEO of DigiFT, emphasized the company's mission to bring real, institutional-grade assets on-chain through trusted infrastructure. He noted that the launch is part of this effort, building genuine breadth and depth into the range of institutional-grade options available to on-chain capital. DigiFT aims to develop new on-chain use cases for the institutional-grade assets already on its platform.

DigiFT is a next-generation platform for tokenized real-world assets, regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. The platform offers end-to-end digital asset services, including tokenization, issuance, distribution, trading, and instant liquidity provision. DigiFT is trusted by global financial institutions, including BNY, Franklin Templeton, Invesco, SBI, and UBS.
