The construction of a 160-bed Savannah Regional Hospital and Referral Facility has commenced at Soalepe, a suburb of Damongo in the West Gonja Municipality of Ghana. The Savannah Regional Minister handed over the project site to FRIDOUG Limited, the construction firm, through the West Gonja Municipal Chief Executive, Yakubu Yussif Castro.

He urged the contractor to execute the project according to the required quality standards, complete it within the agreed timeframe, and prioritize the engagement of local labor.
