These services are accessible through their national ID cards, which have their workplace registered, eliminating the need for additional cards. The services and benefits were introduced under the auspices of Dr. Sayed Qandeel, President of Capital University, and Brigadier General Mohamed Abu Shaqa, General Secretary of the university. The project is supervised by Abdullah Al-Rasas, Head of the Central Human Resources Department, and implemented by Maysa Eissa, General Manager of Benefits and Privileges, and Mahmoud Khalaf, Manager of the Benefits Department.
The benefits include a wide range of services across various sectors such as medical services, home appliances, clothing, food products, and more. The university aims to continuously update the list of service providers, increasing the options available to employees and their families. Some of the offers include discounts on eye exams, medical tests, surgeries, and laser vision correction surgeries.
Employees and their families who do not hold a "Kart Masr" insurance card can benefit from reduced prices on various services. For instance, a comprehensive eye exam is discounted from 600 EGP to 200 EGP, and there are 35% discounts on medical tests and surgeries. Additionally, there are discounts on cataract surgeries with intraocular lens implantation for 10,000 EGP.
The university has also partnered with various companies to offer discounts on electrical appliances, with reductions reaching up to 26%, along with easy installment plans. These plans include options for installment without interest, down payments, or administrative fees, based on the announced conditions and offers.
The services and benefits are available in multiple locations and governorates, including Nasr City, Shubra, El Maadi, Faisal, Alexandria, El Agami, Helwan, Beni Suef, Cairo, Assiut, and El Tagamoa El Khames. The offers are set to continue until December 31, subject to the specific terms and details of each offer.
Furthermore, employees of Capital University can enjoy 20% discounts on clothing and wool products, including bespoke men's clothing made from various fabrics with classic and modern designs. The benefits can be availed by presenting the national ID card or a document proving employment at the university, following the specific procedures set by each service provider.
