The Cairo Education Directorate continued its field monitoring visits to schools and educational administrations on September 28, 2026, to assess the organization of studies, student attendance levels, and academic achievement. The visits included schools under the administrations of Salam, Al-Waili, Al-Zaiton, and Sayyida Zeinab. The directorate's leaders observed the academic day within classrooms, student levels, and teacher organization, in addition to several administrative and technical files related to schools.
In the Salam Educational Administration, Dr. Mervat Mostafa, Deputy Director of the Directorate, visited Salman Al-Farasi Official Language School, Mohamed Matwali Al-Shaarawi Preparatory School for Boys, and Fatima Al-Zahraa Primary School. The visits were attended by Mohamed Fathi, Director General of the Administration, Ihab Al-Nagar, Deputy Director of the Administration, and school principals. The monitoring included following up on class organization, student attendance rates, and supervision levels, with an emphasis on the importance of students attending and benefiting from the academic day.
In Al-Waili Educational Administration, Sahr Al-Khouli, Deputy Director of the Directorate, inspected Egypt Al-Mustaqbal Official Distinguished Language School, Al-Mustaqbal Official Distinguished Language School, and Saqr Quresh Official Language School. The visits included monitoring kindergarten classes, student academic levels, and school libraries and cleaning work. The monitoring also covered the school administration file, where the Deputy Director participated in a workshop at Kulliyat Al-Salam Official School for Girls, affiliated with Al-Zaiton Educational Administration.
The workshop was attended by leaders of the administration and representatives of eight educational administrations. It discussed several administrative files, including assignments, teacher follow-up, employee affairs, maintenance records, and attendance and departure, aiming to exchange experiences and support developing performance within schools. The field visits also come within the framework of the directorate's efforts to directly follow up on the conditions of schools and identify the needs of students and employees.
In Sayyida Zeinab Educational Administration, Hassan Sefan, Deputy Director of the Directorate, concluded his tour by visiting Al-Jam'iya Al-Khayriya Preparatory School for Boys, Al-Bahiya Al-Berahaniya Preparatory School for Girls, and Al-Khidiweya Secondary School for Boys. The visits were attended by Dr. Doaa Ra'ft, Director General of the Administration, and school principals. The Deputy Director followed up on the organization of the educational process within classrooms, laboratories, and school buildings.
The monitoring emphasized the importance of students mastering basic skills, especially memorizing the multiplication table and focusing on correct reading and writing. These visits are carried out in implementation of the directives of Dr. Hamt Ismail Abu Kila, Director of the Cairo Education Directorate, and as part of the continued direct follow-up on the conditions of schools. The goal is to identify the needs of students and employees, supporting the organization of studies and improving educational and administrative performance.
