In a ceremony held on September 13, 2026, in Appouesso, Côte d'Ivoire, 36 students and teachers from the Djandji canton received school kits. The kits, which included educational and computer materials, were distributed on the sidelines of the "Miss Mathematics" competition. The initiative, led by teacher Ahoutou Kouadio Alphonse, aims to encourage students to develop an interest in mathematics and invest in their education.
The students, ranging from 6th to 3rd grade, received notebooks and complete school uniforms, which were provided free of charge. The teachers, on the other hand, received didactic kits consisting of geometric sets, paper, chalk, notebooks, and textbooks, as well as a color laser printer. Additionally, they were given two balloons and two sets of jerseys. The initiative seeks to support students and teachers in the region.
