Simon Tiemtoré, Chairman of Vista Group, has donated over 26.8 million FCFA to support 193 war orphans in Burkina Faso. The donation, made over two years, aims to cover the children's education and provide school supplies. The initiative was announced by Laurent Tiemtoré, Administrator at Vista Bank, during a ceremony at the Vista Bank headquarters in Ouagadougou on September 29, 2026.

The ceremony, attended by teams from Vista, officials from the Union sportive des forces armées (USFA), sports stars, and parents of fallen soldiers, saw the orphans receive school kits and support for their education. This year's event took place at the Vista Bank headquarters, offering the children a chance to discover a new environment and interact with professionals in the banking sector.

The donation is part of Vista Group's corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, which focus on education, youth, health, solidarity, and environmental initiatives. The group has previously supported nine children from Toéni, with a long-term commitment to their education. Vista also engages in health initiatives, such as Octobre Rose, and environmental conservation efforts.

Colonel Hermann Rouamba, Chief of Staff of the Army and President of USFA, expressed gratitude to Simon Tiemtoré and Vista Group for their support. He emphasized the importance of solidarity with the children, who have lost their parents in combat. The donation demonstrates Vista's commitment to contributing to the development of Burkina Faso's communities.

Mariam Séré, representing the parents of the children, thanked Simon Tiemtoré and Vista Group for their generosity. She appreciated the educational opportunities provided to the children during the USFA's summer camp and the overall support offered by Vista.

The partnership between Vista Group and USFA originated from the summer camp, which Simon Tiemtoré had supported. He decided to extend his assistance beyond the camp's activities to include educational support for the children. This initiative reflects Vista's conviction that its role goes beyond financial activities to contribute to human and social development.

Vista Group's CSR efforts aim to make a positive impact on the communities it serves. By supporting education and other social initiatives, the group demonstrates its commitment to contributing to the well-being and development of Burkina Faso's citizens.
