Dr. Cyriaque Paré, founder of Lefaso.net and promoter of Le Faso Digital, was received in audience by Roland Achille Sow, president of the delegation spéciale of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso, on September 24, 2026. The meeting aimed to present the second edition of the virtual fair dedicated to digital solutions and discuss possibilities of involvement of the private sector in this initiative, scheduled from October 17 to 24, 2026.

The second edition of Le Faso Digital, organized around the theme "Inclusion, sovereignty, innovation: Towards a digital Burkina for all," seeks to highlight digital solutions that can accompany the modernization of enterprises and organizations. Dr. Paré emphasized that the Chamber of Commerce is an important interlocutor due to its role with Burkinabé companies. He presented Le Faso Digital as a platform to showcase digital solutions that can help modernize and digitalize enterprises.

The Chamber of Commerce, as the umbrella institution of the private sector, appears as a partner that can contribute to mobilizing companies around the event. Dr. Paré stated that the Chamber's involvement is crucial to inform, sensitize, and mobilize companies for the event. The meeting also explored concrete avenues to bring digital solutions closer to economic actors. The president of the Chamber of Commerce welcomed the approach and made proposals for greater involvement of companies.

A possible dedicated day for companies was discussed, allowing entrepreneurs and economic actors to discover digital solutions adapted to their sectors. The organizing committee already has a pool of solutions to present, with over a hundred digital solutions received, covering areas such as transportation, employment, and agro-food transformation. The goal is to enable companies to better understand available tools and identify those that can meet their needs.

The second edition of Le Faso Digital aims to make digital a tool serving the concrete needs of Burkinabé society and economy. The event will feature conferences, thematic panels, and masterclasses on topics such as digitalization of companies, public digital services, cybersecurity, and digital finance. Business-to-business meetings will also be organized to bring together companies seeking solutions and structures that develop them.

The second edition of Le Faso Digital will also host the second edition of the National Digital Innovation Competition, which seeks to identify and highlight digital solutions addressing concrete Burkinabé challenges. The competition is open to developers, researchers, students, startups, entrepreneurs, and inventors. For the first time, a country, Rwanda, will be invited as a guest of honor for this edition.
