A new digital platform, Taw Taw, was launched on September 18, 2026, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The platform aims to provide a single interface for users to order, pay, and have goods delivered. Taw Taw is designed to support the development of local commerce and youth employability. The launch ceremony was attended by Achille Roland Sow, president of the Special Consular Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso, represented by Zanga Seydou Sessouma.
Taw Taw is a multiservices platform that integrates e-commerce, delivery, electronic payment, catering, ticketing, and other services. The platform is designed to provide users with a convenient and efficient way to access daily services. According to Lancina Touré, representative of Taw Taw's president, the platform is the result of the intersection of technological innovation and the desire to modernize the national economy. Taw Taw's name, which means "fast fast" in the Mooré language, reflects the platform's commitment to speed and efficiency.
The platform offers local businesses, artisans, restaurateurs, and SMEs a digital storefront to showcase their products to a wider audience. According to Touré, Taw Taw allows businesses to sell their products even when their physical stores are closed, while benefiting from simplified management tools and an integrated delivery system. The platform also aims to provide users with a wide range of services, including e-commerce, delivery, mobile payment, meal ordering with delivery, pharmacy services, ticketing, and promotion of commerce.
The launch of Taw Taw has been praised by Roland Achille Sow, president of the Special Consular Delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso. He also emphasized the importance of digitalization in a context where consumer habits are evolving rapidly.

According to Touré, the platform's inclusive approach aims to adapt to the habits of the population, ensuring that users can easily make transactions.
The initiators of Taw Taw have a regional development vision that goes beyond Burkina Faso.
