Breitling has launched a capsule collection featuring five watches that pay homage to its rich aviation heritage. The Avenger Automatic 42 Wings and Avenger Automatic GMT 44 Wings timepieces boast a distinctive design, with a logo that combines wings and an anchor. This emblem is closely tied to Breitling's history in military aviation. The watches are designed for enthusiasts of aviation and instrumental watchmaking.

The Avenger Automatic 42 Wings features a 42mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 12.15mm, while the Avenger Automatic GMT 44 Wings has a 44mm case with a slightly smaller thickness of 12.05mm. Both models have a polished bezel with raised markers for easy handling, echoing the design of instrument watches developed for aeronautical environments.

The watches' construction includes a screwed case back, a screwed crown with two seals, and a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. They are water-resistant up to 300 meters or 30 bars, exceeding typical requirements for aviation watches. The timepieces are designed to withstand demanding conditions.

Breitling offers two bracelet options for each model: a three-link stainless steel bracelet with a deployant buckle and a military-inspired rubber strap with a deployant buckle. The watches' dials feature colors inspired by military uniforms, including black, blue, green, and anthracite. The Avenger Automatic 42 Wings is available in three versions, while the Avenger Automatic GMT 44 Wings comes in two dial colors exclusive to the UK market.

The Avenger Automatic 42 Wings is powered by the Breitling 17 caliber, a self-winding movement with a date display and a 38-hour power reserve. In contrast, the Avenger Automatic GMT 44 Wings features the Breitling 32 caliber, which adds a 24-hour GMT function and has a 42-hour power reserve. Both movements operate at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and have 25 jewels.

The limited-edition Breitling Avenger Wings watches are priced as follows: the Avenger Automatic 42 Wings with a stainless steel bracelet costs £3,750, while the version with a rubber strap costs £3,550. The Avenger Automatic GMT 44 Wings is available with a stainless steel bracelet for £4,600 or a rubber strap for £4,350.

The exact number of available timepieces and the end of the commercialization period have not been specified by Breitling. The five limited-edition models mark the temporary return of the Wings-and-Anchor logo to the Avenger range, with a differentiated offer between the classic automatic models and the GMT versions reserved for the UK market.
