Uko's appointment comes ahead of a series of international programmes scheduled across different parts of the world. Best Diplomats' calendar lists conferences in Istanbul, Türkiye; London, UK; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; New Jersey, USA; Dubai, UAE; and Geneva, Switzerland. The organisation will also hold a United Nations Immersion Programme in Geneva, Switzerland, in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
The upcoming programmes will address issues including global food security, energy, the economics of war, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, humanitarian diplomacy, and international cooperation. Before her appointment, Uko had enjoyed foreign scholarships from Best Diplomats to participate in conferences in Dubai and Geneva. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Benue State University, Makurdi, and a Master's Degree in International Business and Management from the University of Plymouth, England.
