The Bauchi State Civil Service Commission (BSCSC) has dismissed Abdulkadir B. Aliyu, a Higher Fire Superintendent with the Bauchi State Fire Service, from service for stealing shoes from worshippers at the Abubakar Umar Secretariat Mosque in Bauchi. In addition to Aliyu's dismissal, the commission approved the appointment of Abdulkadir Lamaran Gidado as a Stores Officer and Imran Lamaran Gidado as a Commercial Officer, both at Grade Level 8. Abdulkadir Gidado was posted to the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, while Imran Gidado was posted to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment. These appointments bring new personnel to key sectors within the state government.
The commission also approved the confirmation of Hadiza Mohammed's appointment as a Deputy Director, Grade Level 15, on contract, under the Special Schools' Education Board. Furthermore, Ahmed Yahuza Nuhu, a Principal Officer in the Office of the Head of Civil Service, was transferred to A.D. Rufa'i College of Education, Misau, where he will work as a Lecturer III on CONPCASS 8/2. These changes reflect ongoing efforts to optimize personnel deployment across the state's service.
