Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has commissioned three educational projects in his constituency. The projects aim to address infrastructural deficiencies in the education sector. The projects include a three-unit Junior High School block with ancillary facilities at Mandumgbane and Atababo, both in the northern part of Aiyinasi, and a 12-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at the Kikam Technical Institute (KIMTECH).
During the commissioning of the projects, Armah-Kofi Buah emphasized that education is crucial for national development and part of the Resetting Ghana Agenda. He assured that the challenges faced by school children in rural areas would be addressed under President John Dramani Mahama's administration. The projects were handed over to the Ghana Education Service (GES) to improve educational infrastructure in the Ellembelle constituency. Armah-Kofi Buah, who is also the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, encouraged students to study hard and become responsible citizens. District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Joseph Armah Agyekum, noted that the district has witnessed significant development projects under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration. He mentioned that several projects have been implemented in the area, including the connection of communities in Aiyinasi North to the national electricity grid and the construction of road networks and Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds.
Nana Etwe Kpanyinli, the Divisional Chief of Aiyinasi, expressed gratitude to Armah-Kofi Buah for bringing development projects to the northern part of the district.
