Beloved-Dan Anike clinched victory for Enugu East LGA, and Ibenaku Onoh was declared winner in Enugu North LGA. Other winners include Caleb Ani in Enugu South LGA, Vitalis Ngwu in Ezeagu LGA, Martin Amadieze in Igbo Etiti LGA, and Chris Simon in Igbo Eze North LGA.
A review of the 17 chairpersons-elect reveals that 12 of them were re-elected for a second term in office, while five others were elected for the first time. Those re-elected include Mr. Anike, Mr. Ukwueze, Mr. Nwanjoku, and Mr. Okolo, among others. The five new chairpersons-elect are Mr. Amadieze, Mr. Simon, Mr. Ani, Mr. Ogbuekwe, and Mr. Ezeoha.
