The "Mallah" area features various amenities, including a scanning device capable of processing 25 trucks per hour in mobile mode and 150 trucks per hour in fixed mode. It also has 24 electrical outlets for refrigerated containers, an advanced firefighting system, and a video surveillance system. These facilities will enhance the port's ability to handle goods efficiently.
Future expansion work is planned for the "Mallah" area, which will increase its capacity and make it a significant logistics hub. In addition to the "Mallah" area, another logistics base, "Lallaliq," located 3 kilometers from Annaba's port, was put into service recently. This base covers an area of approximately 1.3 hectares and has a capacity to handle 1,200 containers. It will help improve the quality of port services, facilitate the movement of goods, and reduce the stay of containers within the port.
