The Anioma Political Outreach, a political mobilisation platform aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC), has unveiled its organisational structure in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The platform aims to mobilise, campaign, and support APC candidates across various elective positions. Its structure spans the nine local government areas of the Delta North Senatorial District. This development is part of the platform's efforts to engage grassroots mobilisers and leaders ahead of the elections.
The newly announced structure includes several key organs such as a Board of Trustees, Resource Tank, Eminent Elders Council, and Federal Constituencies Mobilising Directorate. Other organs include the Inter-Party Affairs Directorate, Community Liaison Directorate, Contact/Mobilisation Council, Reconciliation Council, Media and Publicity Directorate, and Inter-Religious Directorate. Additionally, the structure comprises Field Facilitators, Youth Council, Women Council, and constituency-level coordinators. These organs are designed to enhance coordination and mobilisation efforts.
Hon. (Chief) Frank Igwebuike, the Convener and Chief Field Officer of the outreach, formally welcomed leaders, stalwarts, and grassroots mobilisers to the initiative. He described this as a major political engagement ahead of the 2027 elections. Igwebuike called on coordinators to work with political leaders in their respective areas to develop grassroots mobilisation structures. These structures should be capable of reaching communities and electoral units across Delta North.
Igwebuike directed State Constituency Coordinators to work with Cell Field Mobilising Officers to establish networks of Unit Mobilising Agents within their respective cells. The outreach has appointed coordinators for the 11 State House of Assembly constituencies in Delta North. These constituencies include Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Ika North-East, Ika South, Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, Oshimili North, Oshimili South, and Ukwani.
The Anioma Political Outreach has also constituted Federal Constituency Mobilising Directorates for Aniocha/Oshimili, Ika, and Ndokwa/Ukwani Federal Constituencies. A Delta North Senatorial District field structure has been established. The Board of Trustees is chaired by High Chief Fred Ajudua, with Rt. Hon. Chuks Agboma as Deputy Chairman and Morrison Onunu serving as Secretary. The Eminent Elders Council is chaired by Professor Egwuyaenga.
The platform has named professionals, former public officials, community leaders, religious figures, youth representatives, and women leaders to various positions. These include the Resource Tank, Reconciliation Council, Community Liaison Directorate, and Inter-Religious Directorate. The structure aims to strengthen coordination between political leaders and grassroots operatives while improving communication and mobilisation across Delta North.
The development comes amid increased political mobilisation in Delta North ahead of the 2027 elections. Various political groups and APC stakeholders are undertaking grassroots engagement and reconciliation efforts in the district. The Anioma Political Outreach will continue to engage communities, political stakeholders, women, youths, and other interest groups as part of its activities.
