The Secretary of State for Administration, Finances, and Patrimony of Angola's Ministry of Foreign Relations, Dr. José Paulino Cunha da Silva, continued his working visit to North America with a stop in Toronto, Canada. The visit follows previous stops at Angola's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, the Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Consulate-General in Houston, Texas, in the United States. These visits aim to strengthen institutional efficiency, promote budgetary sustainability, and ensure rigorous, transparent, and responsible management of state resources and patrimony.

They also assessed the consular services' working conditions, analyzed administrative, financial, and patrimonial challenges, and identified opportunities to improve consular services.

This visit is part of a program to monitor and evaluate Angolan diplomatic and consular representations, aiming to strengthen institutional capacity, rationalize available resources, and continuously improve services provided to citizens abroad. The evaluation will help identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.

The Angolan government's efforts to enhance the efficiency and transparency of its diplomatic and consular representations reflect its commitment to good governance and effective public administration. By assessing and improving these services, the government can better support its citizens abroad and promote national interests.
