The Artificial Intelligence Digital Training Hub was recently launched in Ile-Ife by Olufunso Amosun, wife of former Ogun Governor Sen. Ibikunle Amosun. The inauguration of the hub coincided with the silver jubilee of Moremi Hall at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, where a statue of Moremi was unveiled. Amosun urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the opportunity by acquiring skills that would enhance their employability and enable them to create opportunities for themselves and others. She emphasized the importance of digital skills in today's modern workplace.
The wife of the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Mrs. Afolashade Ogunwusi, commended Amosun for empowering unemployed youths and giving them reasons to be proud of themselves. Ogunwusi expressed her appreciation for the initiative, stating that it would create opportunities for thousands of youths to contribute to the digital economy in the state. She encouraged the pioneer beneficiaries to take the opportunity seriously and become employers of labour.
