ALH Hospitality, a Moroccan hospitality company, has partnered with Radisson Hotel Group to develop a new Radisson RED hotel in Casablanca. The hotel, expected to open in the first quarter of 2028, will offer 70 rooms in the heart of the city, in the Anfa district. This project strengthens the collaboration between the two groups, which already operate the Radisson Hotel Casablanca Gauthier La Citadelle.
The partnership is based on a structured model, with ALH Hospitality providing its expertise as a multi-brand hotel operator, covering design, development, pre-opening, marketing, and operations. Radisson Hotel Group will contribute its brand recognition, international design standards, and distribution platforms. Hamza Laghrari, President of ALH Hospitality, said this new project is a significant milestone in the company's development strategy.
The new hotel will cater to the growing demand for urban hospitality in Casablanca, with a focus on comfort, design, and social experiences. Erwan Garnier, a representative of Radisson Hotel Group, emphasized that Morocco is a priority market in Africa, with a goal of reaching 30 hotels by 2030. Casablanca plays a central role in this strategy, particularly with the country co-hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup with Spain and Portugal.
ALH Hospitality is building a diversified hotel portfolio, selecting a suitable brand for each project based on its positioning, market, and destination. The company currently operates the Radisson Hotel Casablanca Gauthier La Citadelle, with 133 rooms, and the Be Live Collection Marrakech Adults Only, with 212 rooms. ALH Hospitality aims to have 10 hotels, 1,500 rooms, and 1,450 employees by 2034.
The Radisson RED brand is known for its vibrant and modern design, offering guests a unique experience. The new hotel in Casablanca will feature a range of amenities, including a restaurant, bar, and meeting facilities. The project is expected to create new jobs and contribute to the local economy.
ALH Hospitality's growth strategy is aligned with the Moroccan government's efforts to develop the tourism sector. The company is committed to providing high-quality services and experiences, while promoting sustainable tourism practices. The new Radisson RED hotel in Casablanca is expected to become a flagship property for the brand in Morocco.
