The penetration road launched in 2013 was expected to be completed in 2016 but is only 50% complete. The energy sector has not seen any new projects since the 2010-2014 five-year plan. The hydraulic sector is also facing significant delays in the completion of two dams, six water treatment plants, and other projects.
The health sector was also a major concern, with many issues raised about the quality of care and infrastructure. The Wali noted that the province will prioritize the rehabilitation of healthcare facilities and equipment. He also emphasized the need for the communes to take responsibility for the rehabilitation of services of proximity, such as postal services and school canteens.
