Algerian authorities have set a target to deliver 1,000 social housing units in Draâ El Mizan by July 5. The AADL project, comprising 521 housing units, was also inspected. The project, launched in January 2016 with an initial budget of 3,115,500,000 Algerian dinars, has a completion rate of 79%. The wali instructed companies to rectify minor defects and work together to ensure timely completion. He also visited a new primary school, which is expected to be delivered in July or by January 2021 at the latest.
During his visit, Djemaâ discussed the project's progress with local officials, entrepreneurs, and study bureaus. He emphasized the importance of collaboration to avoid delays and instructed the director of hydraulics to address concerns regarding a water pipe that is overflowing onto the road. The wali also visited a sewage pumping station, which is expected to be completed by the end of April.
The wali held a press conference, highlighting the need for rigor in project implementation and concerted efforts to complete projects within the set deadlines. He announced that companies will begin working immediately and that the July 5 deadline will be met. Djemaâ also discussed the regularization of land plots where the housing projects are located, facilitating the work of companies and access to housing for beneficiaries.

The wali reassured them that measures have been taken to ensure the delivery of housing units on July 5.
