To prevent and mitigate the effects of climatic hazards, the Tizi Ouzou province is conducting an inventory of high-risk areas in collaboration with local authorities, the Civil Protection agency, and relevant departments. Djemaâ stated that all high-risk areas will be identified by the end of September, and measures will be taken to address them.
The wali noted that some high-risk areas require in-depth studies and specific interventions beyond simple manual or mechanical work, such as cleaning ditches and structures. He emphasized that instructions have been given to take all necessary measures and implement preventive means to minimize the impact of climatic hazards.
