On Saturday, Algerian Chief of Staff, First Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, welcomed First Lieutenant General Nguyen Trung Nghia, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Director of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, at the headquarters of the Algerian People's National Army. The meeting aimed to enhance military cooperation between the two nations.
According to a statement by the Algerian Ministry of National Defense, Chanegriha and Nghia held talks that focused on military cooperation between Algeria and Vietnam, as well as exchanging analyses and views on issues of mutual interest.
