The Algerian Ministry of Housing has announced that the first keys to AADL 3 housing units will be distributed on November 1, coinciding with the 72nd anniversary of the country's revolution. This move is part of the government's efforts to fulfill its commitments to citizens. According to Minister of Housing, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, the distribution of keys will begin in several wilayas where projects have reached an advanced stage of completion.
The AADL 3 program has seen significant progress, with nearly 950,000 subscribers having paid their first installment electronically. The program aims to provide two million housing units between 2025 and 2029. The first phase of the program involves the construction of 16 new urban poles, which will accommodate over 109,000 housing units. These poles will also feature 859 public facilities and infrastructure.
The distribution of keys on November 1 will follow the successful completion of an operation on July 5, which saw the distribution of 179,168 housing units across various formulas. The Ministry of Housing has set a target of two million housing units for the period between 2025 and 2029. The AADL 3 program is built around a new generation of urban poles, designed to provide modern and sustainable living conditions.
The first 16 urban poles launched in July 2025 are located in various wilayas, including Djelfa, Blida, Oran, Mascara, Relizane, Chlef, Tipasa, Jijel, and Tlemcen. Other wilayas, such as Constantine, Skikda, Souk Ahras, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Sétif, Boumerdès, and Tissemsilt, are also part of the program. Notably, the Sidi Hellou pole in Boudouaou is expected to accommodate 20,000 AADL 3 housing units.
The first installment for AADL 3 housing units was set at 343,000 Algerian dinars (DA) for a three-room apartment (F3) and 431,500 DA for a four-room apartment (F4). Subscribers paid this amount in two equal installments, which could be made electronically using the Edahabia or CIB card, or through the BaridiMob application.
Subscribers to the AADL 3 program are advised to regularly check their personal space on the AADL website, as well as follow official channels, such as the AADL Facebook page and the Ministry of Housing website, for updates on the distribution of keys and other important information. It is also essential to be cautious of intermediaries and only make payments through the official AADL platform.
While the Ministry of Housing has not yet disclosed the specific documents required for the handover of keys, this information is expected to be announced in due course. Subscribers are encouraged to stay informed through official channels and their personal AADL space. The AADL 3 program represents a significant step towards addressing the country's housing needs, and the distribution of keys on November 1 marks an important milestone in this process.
