The first meeting of the Supreme Council for the National Scientific Community Abroad was inaugurated in Algiers, Algeria. The meeting was attended by the council's president and 28 members of the general assembly. These include 27 scientists and experts from the diaspora, chosen for their international scientific standing and strategic expertise. Six representatives from strategic ministerial sectors and three managers of economic institutions abroad, involved in research and development, also participated.
