The goal is to handle these special situations while ensuring coordination between central and local ministry services and concerned schools.
According to the new procedure, a parent or guardian must submit a transfer request to the education directorate of the host province, along with required documents. The education directorate then transmits the request to the competent ministry services, along with documents justifying the student's foreign status and their school file.
The ministry services then study the request and take necessary dispositions to authorize the transfer outside of the "Parent Space". Once authorization is granted, the director of the host school introduces the transfer request via their account on the digital platform. The validation of the request is then carried out by the director of the original school.
The director of the original school must validate the request through their account on the digital platform and obligatorily issue a certificate of change of establishment. After validation, the director of the host school proceeds with the student's registration in accordance with regulations and assigns them to a class via the digital platform.
The ministry also specifies that the concerned student must join their new school as soon as the transfer request is approved by the original school. This new procedure aims to facilitate the transfer of foreign students and ensure their smooth integration into the Algerian education system.
The new measures are expected to alleviate concerns raised by foreign parents and provide a more streamlined process for transferring students between schools.
