Algerian Minister of State for Energy, Mohamed Arkab, met with German State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Energy, Frank Wieczorek, to strengthen bilateral cooperation and develop partnerships in areas of mutual interest. Minister Arkab emphasized the importance of partnering with Germany to implement priority projects, ensuring that Algeria's energy sector provides necessary facilities and support to German companies interested in investing in Algeria. He highlighted opportunities for participation in Algeria's 2026 bid round and leveraging German expertise in modern technologies and advanced industrial solutions.

Wieczorek praised Algeria's pivotal role as a key energy partner, expressing interest from German companies in strengthening their presence in the Algerian market and contributing to strategic projects. The German delegation included representatives from prominent companies such as Bosch, Siemens Energy, and ThyssenKrupp.

The partnership between Algeria and Germany aims to promote cooperation in the energy sector, focusing on areas such as hydrocarbons, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
