The port of Djen Djen in Jijel is also experiencing growth, with over 10,000 containers currently being handled. Preparations are underway for the embarkation of an additional 20,000 containers. Furthermore, Serport plans to adopt a roadmap for the electrification of quays, starting with the ports of Algiers and Mostaganem, to reduce polluting emissions and promote the use of clean energy.
