The university has identified several talented students and innovative projects, including a team of students from the Mechanical Engineering Department who developed an electric golf car.

According to Dr. Ahmed Koshk, Director of the Student Care Department, the registry will enable the university to create a comprehensive database of gifted and innovative students. The database will include information on students' talents, achievements, and participation in local, Arab, African, and international competitions.

The initiative aims to provide support to students in various fields, including scientific, innovative, technological, cultural, literary, artistic, and sports fields. Dr. Koshk emphasized that the university is committed to providing care and support to students with exceptional talents and innovative ideas. As part of the initiative, Al-Azhar University plans to launch the "Al-Azhar Talents Forum" during the 2026/2027 academic year.
