Al-Azhar has participated in the 19th annual exhibition of military cultures, 'October 2026 Memory,' organized by the Military Research Department of the Ministry of Defense. The event took place at the October War Panorama and was attended by Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani, acting deputy of Al-Azhar, and Lieutenant General Dr. Sharif El-Araisy, assistant minister of defense. The exhibition coincides with Egypt's and the armed forces' celebrations of the 53rd anniversary of the October victories.

Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani and Lieutenant General Dr. Sharif El-Araisy inspected Al-Azhar's pavilion, which featured various activities and events organized by Al-Azhar's Office for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support. These events included cultural, artistic, and educational programs aimed at instilling values of loyalty, belonging, and national awareness among the younger generation.

According to Sheikh Ayman Abdel Ghani, Al-Azhar's participation in the exhibition was directed by the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, to solidify the ongoing cooperation between Al-Azhar and the Egyptian armed forces. This participation also aimed to emphasize the role of Al-Azhar in the October War and Egyptian national history.

Al-Azhar's pavilion included several sections, such as an exhibition of Al-Azhar magazine publications and recent scientific papers issued by the Islamic Research Complex. There was also a section for Arabic calligraphy and plastic arts, which included hands-on workshops for wood decoration and painting.

The pavilion's activities also featured a specialized workshop on puppetry to present Egyptian identity-based performances that instill moral and social values in children. Additionally, a team called 'Ibdaa Al-Azhar' for people with disabilities from the Dakahlia region participated, along with national and choral performances by the Al-Azhar International Chorus.

As part of the exhibition, Al-Azhar organized trips for students from foreign countries studying at Al-Azhar and students from Al-Azhar institutes to visit the exhibition and panorama. These events showcased Al-Azhar's role in promoting cultural and national values.

The exhibition demonstrated the strong relationship between Al-Azhar and the Egyptian armed forces. It highlighted the significance of the October War victories and their impact on Egyptian history.
