Former Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State Council, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, has expressed his condolences on the passing of Chief Alhaji Taoreed Faronbi, popularly known as Baba Alado of Mushin. Baba Alado, who was 83 years old, died in the early hours of Saturday, 26th September, 2026. Agbede described the late grassroots mobilizer's death as a monumental loss to Mushin, Lagos State, and the entire transport union family.

He described Baba Alado as a good adviser, a detribalized leader, and a devout Muslim who touched many lives.
Agbede extended condolences to the wives and children of the deceased, the Alagbeji Royal Family, the Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Tunbosun Haruna Aruwe, the entire people of Mushin, and the Lagos State Chairman of NURTW, Alhaji Mustapha Adekunle (Sego). He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives Baba Alado's shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, and grants him Aljannah Firdaus.
