The agreement was signed by NHIF's Managing Director, Dr. Irene Isaka, and Aga Khan's East Africa Regional Director, Dr. Zeenat Sulaiman. Dr. Isaka stated that the partnership is part of NHIF's efforts to improve healthcare services for its members, particularly specialized services that require expertise and advanced technology. NHIF continues to expand its network of healthcare providers and improve the quality of services offered to its members.

Members will also have access to cancer treatment clinics at the hospital, subject to NHIF's procedures, conditions, and guidelines.
