Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Al-Qasid, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Mohamed Zidan, Acting Deputy President for Education and Student Affairs, Menoufia University is participating in the 14th University Youth Week at Minia University with a delegation of 93 students, comprising 53 male and 40 female students. The event, which runs from September 25 to 30, 2026, is held under the slogan "From the heart of Upper Egypt, we create."
The 14th University Youth Week is organized under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Abdel Aziz Kansoua, and Minia University President Dr. Essam Farhat. The event aims to support student activities, discover talents, develop youth capabilities, and foster communication and acquaintance among Egyptian university students.
Menoufia University's delegation is participating in six main fields: sports, cultural, social, scientific, scouting, and artistic. Dr. Mohamed Shahin, Director General of Student Care at the university, is overseeing the participation, along with directors of various departments. The students will engage in diverse competitions and activities, showcasing their talents and capabilities while exchanging experiences with peers from other Egyptian universities.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Qasid, President of Menoufia University, met with the university's delegation participating in the week-long event, expressing his pride in their involvement and emphasizing the importance of representing the university in a manner befitting its reputation. He urged the students to exert their utmost effort, exhibit their talents, and demonstrate a competitive spirit.

The University Youth Week has attracted widespread participation from Egyptian universities and higher education institutions, featuring a carnival that kicked off from Minia Governorate's headquarters, attended by Governor Al-Laith Kaddoumi and Minia University President Dr. Essam Farhat. The event included artistic and folk performances reflecting Egypt's rich cultural heritage.
