The "Start Your Dream" project, implemented by the General Organization of Cultural Palaces, continues its training sessions at the Arish Cultural Palace, with 50 young talents from North Sinai participating. The project aims to provide a comprehensive theatrical experience, culminating in a performance that showcases the skills acquired during the intensive training sessions, in preparation for the graduation ceremony coinciding with the October celebrations.
The training sessions are part of the preparations for the graduation ceremony, scheduled to take place during the October celebrations. The project is supervised by the Canal and Sinai region, led by Professor Ahmed Yosri, and is part of the Ministry of Culture's celebration of North Sinai as the Egyptian cultural capital for 2026. The project aims to discover and nurture young talents, providing them with the necessary skills to become comprehensive artists.
The participants undergo a specialized program to prepare them as "comprehensive actors," which includes not only acting but also revue, music, drama, scenography, and directing. This aims to create artists with diverse tools and elements of theatrical performance. The program is designed to equip the participants with the skills required to deliver a cohesive and integrated performance.
During the current week's training sessions, artists Mohamed El-Deshri, Ahmed Abu Amira, Salah Mustafa, and Nehad Fathallah trained the participants to develop their performance and improve their skills, focusing on utilizing their various skills to serve the theatrical performance and achieve a more integrated and cohesive performance.
The project is supervised by director Ahmed Taha, the artistic director of "Start Your Dream," while the veteran director Essam El-Sayed leads the training team, which includes Salah Mustafa in music, Mohamed El-Deshri in revues, Dr. Rana Abdel Qawi in drama, Ahmed Abu Amira in acting, and Mahmoud Hanafi in scenography.
The project is part of the efforts of the General Organization of Cultural Palaces to discover and nurture young talents, providing them with artistic qualifications. The third phase of "Start Your Dream" represents a new station in the project's journey, with the participation of the governorates of Ismailia, Qena, and North Sinai in the city of Arish.
As the training sessions come to a close, the participants are preparing for the moment when their hard work will be showcased on stage. With the combination of acting, body movement, musical rhythm, and scenography details, the young talents from North Sinai are taking their first steps towards achieving their dreams on the theatrical stage, thanks to the "Start Your Dream" project.
