A support group of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), "ADC For Good Governance", is gearing up for a door-to-door campaign and a 10,000-man march in support of the party's candidates in Rivers State. The group aims to sensitize the people of Rivers State and Ogba Egbema/Ndoni Constituency 2 on the need to vote for Dr. Gabriel Pidomson and Hon. Chris Ochije in the forthcoming elections. National Coordinator of the group, Mr. Ugwuebu Godstime, disclosed this in an interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt.

Mr. Godstime described Dr. Pidomson and Hon. Ochije as "God-sent" candidates, citing their track records as the reason for his support. He emphasized that voting them into office would bring good governance to the people of Rivers State. According to him, Hon. Ochije, a former Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, possesses the experience and leadership skills needed to represent the constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly.

Hon. Ochije's planned programs include the establishment of a Constituency 2 Development Commission, which aims to provide employment for youths and infrastructural development for various communities and wards. Mr. Godstime expressed confidence that Hon. Ochije would work closely with Dr. Pidomson if elected, to ensure the development of the constituency. He highlighted Hon. Ochije's experience as a former local government chairman, stating that he is well-equipped to attract development to the constituency.

The group plans to commence its door-to-door campaign by mobilizing people to vote for the ADC candidates. Mr. Godstime stated that the campaign would be a sensitization program aimed at encouraging people to get involved and vote for the credible candidates. He added that the party chairman, party secretary, and other party leaders would be involved in the campaign to ensure that ADC becomes a household name.

In addition to the door-to-door campaign, the group plans a 10,000-man march for Dr. Pidomson and Hon. Ochije. Mr. Godstime emphasized that the march would be a show of support for the candidates and a demonstration of the people's desire for good governance. He expressed optimism that the candidates would emerge victorious in the elections, citing their credibility and track records.

The ADC candidates are expected to focus on addressing issues affecting the constituency, including environmental degradation and youth restlessness. Mr. Godstime stated that Hon. Ochije, if elected, would bring the constituency closer to the government and ensure that its needs are addressed. He emphasized that the group is supporting Hon. Ochije and Dr. Pidomson because they are the best candidates for the job.

The door-to-door campaign and 10,000-man march are part of the group's efforts to ensure that the ADC candidates win the forthcoming elections. Mr. Godstime urged the people of Rivers State and Ogba Egbema/Ndoni Constituency 2 to support the candidates, citing their potential to bring good governance and development to the area.
