Hon. (Dr) Prince Olaide Lateef Mohammed, also known as POLAM, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on his promises to the people of Irepo/Orelope/Olorunsogo Federal Constituency. He made this statement at the launch of his Mega Empowerment 2026 initiative, a 5-batch program aimed at empowering 1,000 youth and women across the constituency. The program is designed to provide life-changing items, including vehicles, mini-trucks, motorcycles, deep freezers, and generators.
The historic ceremony, held in collaboration with the Federal Cooperative College, Oji-River, marked the beginning of the empowerment revolution. Over 150 items, worth hundreds of millions of naira, were distributed in the first phase alone. The items were presented to beneficiaries across the three local government areas, including Irepo, Orelope, and Olorunsogo. POLAM described the initiative as a landmark intervention designed to reach 1,000 youth and women across the constituency.
Addressing his supporters and beneficiaries, Hon. Olaide Mohammed congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to use the items wisely. He emphasized that the program is designed to empower constituents with vehicles, mini-trucks, motorcycles, deep freezers, generators, POS machines with cash, saloon kits with cash, and other items. The distribution of these items aims to promote economic growth and development in the constituency.
The Mega Empowerment ceremony was attended by APC leaders and stakeholders from across the state, including the Oyo APC Secretary. Representatives from Irepo, Olorunsogo, and Orelope LGAs, as well as Hon. Salami Waliu Ayinde, Minority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, were also present. The event was witnessed by religious and community leaders, and a media crew from the National Assembly, Abuja.
POLAM extended heartfelt appreciation to his constituents, traditional rulers, elders, religious leaders, community leaders, and stakeholders across the three LGAs for their guidance and continued partnership. He also commended party leaders, ward chairmen, legislative aides, and the youth and women of the constituency for their resilience and commitment to the progress of the Federal Constituency.
The items distributed to beneficiaries included Toyota Sienna, Toyota Corolla, Volkswagen Golf, mini-trucks, motorcycles, deep freezers, and generators. The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA, received a Toyota Sienna. POLAM reaffirmed his commitment to continue delivering on his promises, including securing Federal Government appointments, driving infrastructural development, and empowering youth and women.
