The Youth Social Advocacy Team (YSAT), a refugee-led non-profit organization, is currently recruiting a Project Finance Officer to oversee the financial management of its OCHA-funded Refugee Response Programme. Additionally, a minimum of three years of relevant experience in financial management of humanitarian or development programmes is required. Demonstrated prior experience managing OCHA-funded projects and practical experience using OCHA OneGMS for financial management, reporting, and budget monitoring are also mandatory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project financial information and reporting within OCHA OneGMS, ensuring accurate and timely entry, updating, and reconciliation. They will also prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and donor financial reports showing expenditure, commitments, balances, and variances. Furthermore, the Project Finance Officer will process project payments for staff, suppliers, service providers, and participants in accordance with YSAT procedures and OCHA guidelines.

The Project Finance Officer will also be responsible for maintaining complete and orderly financial files for all project transactions, ensuring readiness for OCHA financial reviews and audits. They will monitor budget utilization and burn rates across FSL, WASH, Protection, and MEAL activities, and provide financial insights to inform programme decision-making. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be required to identify and address any financial discrepancies or issues.
