The city of Gercif in Morocco recently hosted the second edition of the "Khatawat Al Nasr" women's sports event, which is part of the International Festival of Traditional Games. The event was organized by the Royal Moroccan University for Sports for All, in partnership with the Gercif province authorities. The competition, which took place on Saturday, saw a strong participation from women of different age groups.

The event aimed to promote women's participation in sports and encourage them to make physical activity a part of their daily lives. The competition involved a 5-kilometer run or walk, which started from the historic 6 November Square and ended at Mohammed VI Street. The event had a unique condition, where the participants were not timed, but rather encouraged to finish the course with the slogan "نجري علاش قديت" or "We run for fun."

The event was praised by the International Union for Sport for All, with its president, Issa Mohammed Abd al-Rahim Al Rafai, describing it as "a great success" and highlighting the large number of women who participated in the event. The president of the Royal Moroccan University for Sports for All, Nouzha Badaoui, also expressed her satisfaction with the event, citing the enthusiasm and participation of women from different age groups.

The event has also received support from several sports personalities, including Olympic medalists Moulay Ibrahim Boutaib and Rashid Al Basir.
