A Federal High Court in Abuja has convicted Will Jessica Ann of smuggling 5.75 kilogrammes of narcotics into Nigeria, according to Yen.com.gh. The court sentenced her to 25 years in prison.
The street value of the seized narcotics is estimated at N18 million per kilogramme, authorities stated.
Will Jessica Ann was arrested on July 6 at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport after arriving from Doha aboard a Qatar Airways flight.
