To qualify for the position, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution of higher learning. A background in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, commerce, microfinance, or development studies is an added advantage. Previous experience in microfinance, banking, credit, sales, field operations, or loan recovery is also desirable. Good communication, interpersonal, customer-service, and negotiation skills are essential for the role.

The role also involves identifying and reporting potential credit risks, portfolio challenges, fraud indicators, and other irregularities.
