The International University of Rabat (UIR) recently hosted its seventh annual job fair, bringing together over 40 companies from diverse sectors. The event, jointly organized by Rabat Business School (RBS) and the College of Engineering and Architecture, aimed to connect students with employers and support their entry into the job market. This initiative provided a platform for students to meet recruiters, explore employment and internship opportunities, and learn about employers' needs.

A significant aspect of the event was the signing of six partnership agreements between UIR and various companies. Rabat Business School signed two conventions with CFG Bank and Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM), while the College of Engineering and Architecture signed four agreements with Stellantis, Alten, Casanet, and SQLI. These partnerships aim to strengthen the university's corporate relations network and provide students with opportunities to begin their careers.

Tarek Zouadi, Director of Executive Education and Corporate Relations at RBS, emphasized the importance of the job fair as a bridge between academia and the corporate world. He stated that the event provides a meeting point for students and professionals seeking new talent and skills. Zouadi welcomed CFG Bank and ADM as new partners, highlighting the added value their involvement brings to the institution.

Salma Yaqoubi, Communication Manager at the College of Engineering and Architecture, noted that the event brought together companies from various fields to help engineering and architecture students access the job market. She cited international companies such as Yazaki and Stellantis among the participants, reflecting the university's commitment to employability and providing engineering students with career opportunities.

Students actively participated in the fair, meeting recruiters and exploring employment and internship opportunities. Ghita El Hernoussi, a fifth-year Strategic and Digital Marketing student at RBS, completed two interviews with Orange and the Gili and Kia Group. She described the experience as smooth and welcoming, highlighting the benefits of the event for students.

The participating companies represented several sectors, including automotive manufacturing, engineering, banking, telecommunications, and transport. Through company stands, recruitment interviews, and direct meetings with professionals, the fair gave students an opportunity to learn about employers' needs and explore possible career paths before graduation.

Yassine Nadi, Human Resources Director at Stellantis Kenitra, emphasized the company's commitment to strengthening partnerships with Moroccan universities and training centers, particularly in research and development and innovation. He highlighted the importance of maintaining close ties with educational institutions to align academic training with the skills needed in the automotive industry.
