Grammy-winning artist Tyla will be performing in South Africa across three nights for her A*POP World Tour. Following overwhelming demand for tickets, Tyla will now perform at Pretoria’s SunBet Arena on Friday, January 8, 2027, in addition to her already announced concert on Saturday, January 9. The new date and venue change were necessitated by concerns around possible Highveld thunderstorms, a review of the overall audience experience, and requests from fans for a seated concert option. As a result, the January 9 show has also moved from the Nasrec Outdoor Area in Johannesburg to the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, Gauteng’s premier world-class indoor arena. Tyla’s South African fanbase, affectionately known as the Tygers, have been calling for another Gauteng show, and the global star has answered. Cape Town will host Tyla on Monday, January 4, 2027, at the Green Point Track, followed by two Gauteng dates at SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Friday, January 8, and Saturday, January 9.
